We are located on Bowen Island, a short scenic trip from downtown Vancouver accessible by air, boat or a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, with daily water taxi access from Granville island, Coal Harbour. Bowen Island has a long history as a holiday resort destination. In the early 1900’s holiday excursionists boarded Union Steamships, bound for the “Happy Isle”. Their days were, spent at picnics, walking the trails of Deep Bay and Killarney Lake. Taking a dip in the warm, waters of Howe Sound, dancing at the Pavilion, or lounging at one of the 200 cottages owned, by the Union Steamship Company.
